Senators want PEMRA to ban beauty tips from morning shows

The politicians have demanded PEMRA to take action against the morning shows where unqualified people share the health and beauty tips with natural herbs and have a negative reaction on their body.

The issue raised by the Senator Ateeq Sheikh as he added that ‘her maid burnt her face when following one of the beauty tip’ shared on the television shows.

The Senator raised the issue of beauty tips in front of National Health Service regulation and foundation as he added that her wife asked her to raise the issue in front of the committee.

Senators want PEMRA to ban morning quacks:

 

  • The Senator expressed his feelings and thoughts in front of the committee as he added that these beauty tips in the morning shows or televisions are dangerous for the people as they are spread by the people that are not qualified, doctors.
  • He also added that these people on the televisions are not qualified Hakeem’s and their unqualified tips may produce the hazardous side effects towards the health of the people.
  • He added that many people come in front of the television via morning shows and spread the beauty tips with the help of fruits, vegetables, and other household items but they actually do not know the right outcomes and do not have credible credentials.
  • The Senator shared the story of his maid about the event occurred towards his face and suggested that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) should take the action against the morning shows and ban those illiterate people from giving beauty tips.

The people should remain careful while working towards the beauty tips as they need to learn whether it would be shared with the authorized doctor or Hakim and they have tested this beauty tip before they shared with the public.
