SBP is providing refinance loans to women’s entrepreneur

In the modern era a government is working hard for women to provide them a suitable position in the world. This time State Bank of Pakistan launch Refinances loans to womens entrepreneurs.

State bank of Pakistan has announced the scheme known as Refinance and Credit Guarantee Scheme for Women Entrepreneur in Under served areas at Quetta.

The governor State bank of Pakistan addresses the media and people at the launch of the ceremony. He provides commitment towards sustainable and inclusive economic growth across Pakistan.

Refinance and credit guarantee scheme:

  • The governor addressed that this is the first time women scheme was introduced by Pakistan with plenty of benefits. The scheme was launched with 0% refinance rate and sixty percent risk coverage for a small business run by women.
  • This loan to women’s entrepreneur considered an important step towards the growth of women. The scheme will specially deal with the underserved areas of Pakistan and SBP will provide a flow of cash for women development.
  • The governor of SBP addressed that all banks should take adequate steps to make this scheme a success. He also added that SBP also monitors the progress of the scheme for country’s betterment.
  • The speaker of Baluchistan added that this is an important scheme for the province. It helps the poor females to overcome their financial problems and enhance the growth of the region.

The salient features of loan to women’s entrepreneur:

  • This facility is available only for women belongs from underserved areas
  • Women start their own business or expand the existing ones
  • Maximum amount provided is Rs 1.5 million
  • Financing period is 5 years with 6 months grace period
  • 60 pc risk coverage is available

The SBP also explained that their focus is on agriculture, SMEs, a low-cost housing scheme in underserved areas of Balochistan. Governor Balochistan thanks, Mr. Bajwa for providing financial funds to the region.
