People notice that the goats and cattle going missing. Gradually the lonely travellers, men and shepherds alike fell prey to this scourge. It was said that the mum comes out during the night for prey. She used to take up the people in the cave.
Once she attacked on the military officer .At the same time the officer found the dairy in his pocket and he planned to save innocent people from this scourge (Mum). He started slitting the pages of his dairy on way to the cave so that it will help other military officers to found the MUM.
In morning when his fellows didn’t found him anywhere then they started searching him and they found the pages of his dairy . After following the paper marks they reached that cave and found officer in unconscious condition, he told them that she uses this cave for hiding herself. Military officers planned to kill her. Next night when she came out from her cave they shoot her at the spot.

Still, I suggest that on cold Quetta nights, if you are feeling sentimental and wish to walk along the Baleli Road by the Christian Cemetery, keep it in the mind “THE MUM MIGHT BE WATCHING YOU!
