The announcement comes just after few days when Qatar announced visa-free entry scheme for 80 countries in the world. Qatar wants plenty of tourists and business personalities in a tiny state.
Eligibility criteria for Qatar Visa on Arrival:
- The announcement for the Pakistani nation came from the Qatar Airways. The official website states that Pakistani nationals are able to get the visa for a maximum stay of 30 days.
- Pakistani that wants to visit the tiny state must have valid Pakistani passport for minimum six months from arrival date. They are able to extend their visa with next 30 days under the new rules. Pakistani should have air ticket showing that the traveler will leave the country.
Earlier this month Qatar has already announced visa free scheme for 80 countries but Pakistan was not in a scheme. The new plan of the Qatar shows that they are ready to open the vacancies for 62 new destinations.This decision made by the Qatar after faced diplomatic isolation by its Arab neighbors. The Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Egypt have imposed a boycott on Qatar.
