The most-awaited decision of Panama Papers has been declared on Friday and PM Nawaz Sharif Disqualify Instantly.
The Supreme Court announces their decision today and made a decision that Sharif family is involved in money laundering and establishing properties abroad.
Supreme Court refers the case to NAB:
- The Supreme Court referred the Panama Paper Case to NAB to complete the further investigation related to the case. They ordered them to complete the investigation within next six weeks.
- They also ordered to Election Commission of Pakistan to send the disqualification notice to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with immediate effect.
- The JIT also handled the case of Panama Papers for 60 days to identify the misleading personalities and identify that Sharif family was unable to provide clear answers to their questions. They also found out
- This is the third time when Nawaz Sharif remains unable to complete his chief executive’s office and it is not cleared that who will be appointed for the post till the next election.
Supreme Court rule on Nawaz family:
The five judges announce Nawaz Sharif to disqualify from his post immediately and the five-member handled the apex court including:
- Justice Ejaz Afzal
- Justice Asif Saeed Khan
- Justice Gulzar Ahmad
- Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed
- Justice Ijazul Ahsan
It was the united decision from all the five judges and the decision was announced in Courtroom 1 of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Supreme court also announce to disqualify:
- Finance Minister Ishaq Dar
- MNA Captain Safdar
- The judges also file the reference against Hassan Nawaz, Maryam, and Hussain Nawaz.
The Islamabad and Rawalpindi had been on high-security checks before the decision and people were allowed to enter the area only after identification and security checks.
