I guess there was nothing bad in it and they were not doing any unhealthy activity in ground. But Pakistan Government representatives showed their concern about this trend. They ere not happy for such activity, and reason was undefined.
Hours after a parliamentary board on Wednesday communicated reservations over cricket players doing push-ups  to celebrate victories during matches, director of PCB’s Executive Committee administrator Najam Sethi cleared up that the festivals were done at the circumspection of play
Lawmakers had raised questions over the team’s celebrations at Lord’s against England and then Azahr Ali against West Indies after scoring 300.
#Pushups Mashallah, what a statement. InShaAllah next time when Misbah scores a century he will take out a jaa-namaz and offer 4 rakats. pic.twitter.com/8aCUJCPQHN

Najam Sethi who is heading Pakistani team ( I dont know why he is given such responsibility) claimed something else. Â Clearing up media reports, Sethi advance said there was no restriction on performing celebratory push-ups.
Oh for God's sake, there is no ban on pushups! In fact I think players should do 100 pushups when they score a century!! ?

1/2 Sajda/pushups etc done @ discretion of players. PCB highly appreciates fitness training facilities of PakArmy, utilised thrice in 6 yrs

#2/2 Media should refrain from politicising Pak cricket team!

Giving reasoning behind why there is no need of push-ups celebrations, the MNA said cricket is “a gentleman’s game,†while doing push-ups does not maintain the game’s caliber, reported local media.
To this, PCB official Sethi assured that players no longer celebrate victories with push-ups. “It only happened during the England tour and won’t happen again,†Sethi said.
“Push-up celebration promotes a negative image of Pakistan and needs to be revisited,†said Khan. Pakistan Officials say instead of Pushups they must focus on offering nawafils in ground
Misbah said the unique celebrations were a mark of respect and promise to the Army. “That was my promise to the army guys,†he had said at the post-match press conference.
I guess he is right :
By doing #Pushups might Misbah is conspiring to become next COAS & then impose the martial law! A threat to detrail the Democracy! :/
