The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) finally launched the hassle-free mechanism for applicants to apply for the attestation of their degrees online.
The Commission has introduced the degree verification system and release the stress of many applicants as they need to stand in the queue and wait for their turn for verification of documents.
The official announced the system on Saturday as the applicants can apply for verification of documents while sitting at home as the system is advanced and secure and created a portal.
The portal interface quite simple to use as users will sign up their account for online registration and should need to fill the form containing the information and attach the scan documents which he/she wants to verify from the higher commission.
The system introduced by the Pakistan government is pretty intelligent and easy to use as applicant just need to submit the application and then robot system will initially inspect online by HEC and later the applicant should need to appear in the office.
The applicant was notified via email and SMS from the HEC system where the meeting has been schedule and he/she needs to appear with the documents in one of the HEC offices in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar or Quetta.
The applicant should need to appear on the day of meeting with all original documents along with the copy of documents as well, and you will receive the attested degree within a short time.
If you are unable to reach the office and send someone else on behalf of yourself then this person must have authority letter from the applicant.
The applicant will receive the verified degree with the courier service if he/she has selected the courier options and also pay the courier services and detail of the courier service are available on the portal.
For Ph.D. applicants, you should need to verify the two step procedure as first sight you should need to navigate PCD and then system will search on the basis of your email address or CNIC provided by the applicant and later you should need to fill the PCD serial number in the form – HEC will entertain the further verification later.

The system designed by the Pakistan government is helpful for the applicants as if they fail to reach the visit at the time you are able to reschedule your visit and offers the tracking service to view the progress of your online application.
