Coke Studio artist Momina Mustehsan and Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari are involved in a Twitter conflict over Coke Studio’s new version Ko Ko Korina and it’s very diverting most definitely.
Everything began when Mazari took to the social networking site in order to share her views for the song Ko Ko Korina – the new version of the 1966 hit song’. This latest version is sung by Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan by coke studio.
“Horrendous!” she wrote. “Destroyed a great classic – why oh why, did Coke Studio allow such a massacre of this classic song?”

To this, the Awaari vocalist reacted, “Apologies for hurting your sentiments. It is your right to judge us and express your outrage, just like it was our right to exercise our freedom of expression. As our Minister for Human Rights, you should appreciate Coke Studio for allowing us to express ourselves, especially if it was horrendous.”

The PTI MNA, answered to Mustehsan’s tweet. “I gave my personal opinion which I am entitled to. Especially on a non -political issue having to do with music. To each his/her own! And why bring the ministry into it?!” she composed.

“I regard that ma’am – I apologized and recognize that you had each privilege to pass judgment and express shock,” the Afreen vocalist expressed. “I was just noting your inquiry of why Coke Studio permitted it. Also, as somebody holding office, I’d trust you’d value the recompense of opportunity of articulation anyway awful it turned out.”

Also, she didn’t stop there.
“As somebody holding office, I’d anticipate that you will be more capable with how you convey what needs be on open stages. We admire you, ma’am, as residents of this nation,” included the artist.

At that point Mustehsan, umm, cited Spider-Man and included, “Uncle Ben from Spider-Man said ‘with awesome power comes extraordinary duty’. Try not to disappoint us.”
The Muntazir songstress assist proceeded, “When you hold office, its not about governmental issues or his/her own any longer – it’s about the nation on the loose. Mazari unquestionably didn’t keep down and reacted, “Would you say you are not kidding? Enjoying or detesting a tune has nothing to do with anybody or any legislative issues! It’s an individual decision. I didn’t care for the melody. End of story.”

To this, the 26-year-old crooner countered, “I never said it was digital tormenting. I said we are in a period when we’re attempting to control it, alongside despise discourse, and it’s stoking the fire.
