LAHORE: Disneyland park will be constructed on the Lahore-Islamabad M-2 Motorway near Kala Shah Kaku
Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Director General Shakeel Ahmad verified that after evaluating various sites, the Chinese company, Golden Bean, has choosed to construct the country’s first Disneyland-style theme park on the M-2 Motorway.
PHA director said that It is a large assignment and definately will consider about 2 years to finish.
LDA Commissionar Abdullah Khan Sumbal stated that the Punjab government is taking part in the role of a facilitator in the assignment.
The Chinese company has dedicated to invest Rs32 billion in the task. “Golden Bean will work on development, purchasing of land and efficiency of the assignment,” Sumbal said.
The LDA commissioner added that the punjab government has assured continuous electrical power provide through special feeders for the task. “The government would also construct an approach road for the suggested theme park. LDA Commissionar said that we would also construct a five star hotel, water aquarium,shopping centers, business centers and a breathtaking rollercoaster. The suggested theme park will be constructed more than an area of 320 to 350 acre and will have immediate access from the M-2 Motorway.
