How do you feel if anyone cut your long hair while you are sleeping or walking on the road? Do you ever able to imagine this situation – NEVER – but it is happening in Jammu and Kashmir.
We live in Pakistan and want to provide rights to everyone. Recently, Knife-attack in Karachi on women is trending topic of media and now braids choppers attack in Kashmir. I never understand what these men are thinking about women? This is a time we have to stand for women and supports them to protect them from illiterate men.
Braids choppers attack in Kashmir:
After causing a panic attack in India, braids chopper is now reached in Kashmir. Women of the region are looking for the secure place to save their hairs at this time. Recently a lot of accident happens with the women causing fear among people.
Tasleema Rouf, 35 lives in Srinagar, the capital of Indian occupied Kashmir. She saw a shadow of a man when she standing at top roof of her house. Tasleema has no time to scream for help as she was attacked and found lying on the floor. Her husband found her with some of her hair chopped off.
Recently, Shaqeela Sajad also faces the same issue in the same city. She was cleaning her front veranda of home when a man forced her with a handkerchief over her nose. When she opened her eyes at the hospital found her on a floor with braid.
Braid cutting accidents are becoming common:
The fact is that 40 total cases have been reported in Jammu Kashmir and causing a new type of terror. Local police added that more than 200 accidents of braids choppers are recorded in the region. The braid chopping accidents are common in India last few days. 50 women in northern states of Haryana and Rajasthan had reported in August.
Fears are at the peak this time because Kashmiri women mostly have braided hair. They have a habit to cover their hairs with scarves and other traditional garb but attackers fear people. The reports show that these accidents happened on the road as well as the home.
They have also collected a tied bundle of hair, cut off from the head at the crime scene. The government of the area also taking this horrible accident seriously and announce bonus. The person that provides information about this gang or person will receive $9,000 bonus.
Local police of the area are still clueless about the scene while the Indian troopers have cracking down protests. They want the government to capture that gang as early as possible that fearing the women.
The situation is getting worse on a daily basis while police used tear gas to disperse local residents. Police need a person to solve the case and special teams also dispatched to handle the case.
There is also a big problem for the police as local women are refused to talk about the scene. These attacks have been causing depression and spreading fear across the neighborhoods.
