Actually,Sometimes using multiple ingredients will cause negative effects on your skin. Times are changing and products are much more advanced, but still cancel each other out. We have spoken to some of the dermatologists to learn out reality. Here are some tips they gave public while using different skin care ingredients for them:
Don’t combine Vitamin C + Retinol:
Both products have some good effect to reduce aging from a face. Vitamin C will actually help to fight against damage skin caused by sun and environmental pollutants. When we talk about Retinol, it also lightens the effect of a brown spot with vitamin A. Both products have some impressive results for person’s beauty but used independently. Vitamin C is ideal for daylight usage while Retinol is better to use at night time.
Never make a combination of Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids + Retinol:
We all know that alpha and beta products are used to exfoliate the top layer of skin. Both products include glycolic, lactic and citric acid and improve color irregularities over time. When it comes towards retinol, it is good for treating acne, brown spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. If both items are combined, then it will cause excessive dryness to person’s beauty. It also causes redness and irritation.
DON’T COMBINE: Benzoyl Peroxide + Retinol:
Dermatologists added that if benzoyl is combined with retinol then it will cancel each other effect. Just engage skin dermatologist with you while using several products at a time. You need to remember never combine retinol with irritating products that contain acid. Similarly, it is true for vitamin C combination with Benzoyl Peroxide. You never need to combine these items as it will cancel each other.
Combine Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids with Vitamin C:
Dermatologists added that there is no worry when a combination of vitamin C with hydroxy acids. The fact is that both products will work in the same environment. But there are some points when both products will never work depending on the type of skin. It is better to speak doctor before using a combo. They will aware you whether this combination works or causes irritation to your skin.
Always apply sunscreen:
It only points where all dermatologists are agreed.Applying sunscreen for protection every day is good for people. You have to follow sunscreen daily routine with SPF of 30 or greater. It is also a not good idea to combine a moisturizer with sunscreen as it reduces an effect of cream.
It is always better to speak about skin care ingredients with dermatologists before using them
