The Pakistan government is working hard to achieve the peace and stability in the nation and advancing the security department. The ministers also represent the good image of the nation at the international event. This time Ahsan Iqbal said no achievement is found without maintaining peace at the 86th Interpol General Assembly.
The interior minister Ahsan Iqbal represents the Pakistan at the opening ceremony of the 86th General Assembly of Interpol. This assembly was opened by Chinese President Xi Jinping and it is one of the largest ceremonies.
It is attended by more than 100 countries, including 40 ministers from various countries. This assembly will remain to continue till September 29 and discuss global issues with security and counter-terrorism.
What Ahsan Iqbal stated at General Assembly Of Interpol?
- Ahsan Iqbal added that Pakistan has achieved the success in defeating the menace of terrorism in last four years. The nation is the major victim of terrorism and has development agenda.
- Pakistan has great experience in defeating the terrorism and willing to share his experiences with the international community. The global community requires all levels security to remain secure from the terrorism. It includes cyber security, narcotics trade, and human smuggling and Pakistan police are playing a leading role to control crime.
- The country is working hard to make police eligible to meet challenges of the 21st century. He added today terrorists and criminals are forming global networks and we need collaborative fight against them.
- Pakistan is the country always committed with the Interpol and look forward to work with the international community for promoting peace.
- He added that global security is not sure unless it addresses security concerns of all. The president Xi’s vision of global security is the need of the hour.
- There are no haves and not when it comes to the peace in the region. All countries are always working to improve the quality of life and brought peace and security. Pakistan is here to welcome China’s commitment announced to help developing countries’ capacity in fighting crime.
- He also added that no country in the world better understands the meaning of peace rather than China. This is the reason the world needs to learn.

Meanwhile, the interior minister and director general FIA held a meeting with a Russian counterpart. Both parties discuss the issues with bilateral cooperation and mutual interest was discussed. They expressed a need to further promote cooperation against cyber-crime and corruption.
Ahsan Iqbal also stated Pakistan China friendship with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He believes that this collaboration with China helps the nation to raise their standards in the world.
Ahsan added that this friendship will rise from the Himalayas to higher than the stars. He added that this CPEC will collaborate to bring peace in the nation and creates economic opportunities.
Pakistan has already raised the special force of 10,000 personnel for the protection of Chinese worker in Pakistan. The two parties have already agreed to provide further corporations in the areas of counter-terrorism, fighting against crime. They will also provide ease of visa restrictions.
