Islamabad is the beautiful and well-established city of the Pakistan but, you can see a Daesh flag is seen on the streets. Do you know that militant Islamic State (IS) flag is waving on Sunday?
What does the actual accident occur on Sunday?
- Despite an extensive range of CCTV camera to monitor the people fails to work properly in Islamabad. An unidentified man remains able to put the Daesh Flag on the major thoroughfare of the city.
- This flag is displayed on the billboard at the pedestrian bridge in Islamabad Expressway near Iqbal town. The flag was later down by the police at 12 pm.
- This flag is first identified by the passer on Sunday and informed the police. He identified the Islamic State flag as he was familiar with it due to television.
- This flag is the standard of the terrorist group but the fact is the slogan written on it. The flag states that ‘Khilafat is coming’ and put a sign on government activities.
- When the interior minister aware about the incident, takes the notice and wants a report from the police chief.
Why do police fail to locate the group?
- The police came into action after the incident happened on the street of the Islamabad. They try to nab the people with the help of CCTV camera located in the region.
- Islamabad is called a safe city of the country due to the extensive project of CCTV cameras. It costs $125 million or over Rs 13 billion to complete the project.
- This project includes more than 1900 surveillance cameras across the city with the command and control setup. It will monitor all the important buildings, entry and exit points, commercial centers and residential areas. But police still remain unable to locate the criminal group. Why?
- The Safe City project says that the Daesh flag doesn’t fall into our domain. Our cameras focus on the road traffic and it is impossible to identify others. This is the reason people that wave flags are unable to visible in the footage.
Anti-terror law:
- The officer added that this case is registered under the anti-terror law. We register this case against the unidentified people and registered under Section 11-G of Anti-Terrorism Act.
- This article shows that it is illegal to display any article, symbol, flag or banner associated with an organization. The person that prevents the law is sentenced to jail or either faces the fine.
- Islamabad police unable to locate any person associated with this case. The officials checked CCTV cameras of nearby spots but nothing found. Though no FIR is registered towards Sunday case and no decision is made for FIR yet.
