Monsoon Rains and its Effects for Pakistani

Monsoon is the lovely season in the year awaited by the people of Pakistan to enjoy the rain as you cannot predict the weather in monsoon, at one time if there is the sun, in the next time, there can be full heavy rain.

People of Pakistan enjoy the weather in different style, some enjoy the tasty food, and some enjoy the long drive with family or enjoy the hot tea.

But heavy monsoon can cause great damage for people of Pakistan:

  • Drainage system:

Pakistani people face the problem of poor drainage system every year in different areas. Most of the parks, grounds and backward areas lack the drainage system and make it possible for people to walk or drive on the road and drainage system is quite poor where water resides for two or three days.

  • Traffic Jam:

Traffic jam is the biggest cause of monsoon rain and people are unable to reach the destination on time, the water resides on the roads and traffic warden remains impossible to manage the vehicle direction and this traffic jam also causes problem for ambulance and police emergency when they stuck in long lines of vehicles.

  • Diseases:

The monsoon season will bring a number of diseases as when people touch the dirty water of monsoon and its skin get serious skin infections or some stuck in different allergies including asthma or dust allergies which make them sick for the long period of time.

  • Homeless, Floods:

Pakistani people also face the problem of landslides, home collapses and the worst flooding in different areas of the region where the floods left thousands of people homeless and causing colossal damage and death toll in monsoon season is also expected to rise every year.
