Overturned Oil Tanker Explodes, Killing 140+ People
A horrible incident had happened on Sunday morning when overturned oil tanker had been turned into flames killing more than 128 people at the scene.
The crowd had been together to collect the oil leaked from the tank where the tank will turn into flames and killing 128 people at a scene where dozens of people had been treated in hospital.
The initial reports of the scene added that the tanker was at speed when it overturned where the fuel had caught fire when the person was smoking near the scene according to an eyewitness of the scene where the rescue operations are at peak.
The head of Punjab rescue services added that 120 people had died in the act where nearly 76 people had seriously wounded and suffering dangerous burns.
The tanker was traveling from Karachi to Lahore and flipped on the highway about 10km from southwest of Multan where the driver of the tanker lost the balance and crash the tank.
The people belonging from the nearby villages start their motorcycle and move towards the tank with jars to gather the leaked oil and this is the reason hundreds of people had died where the eyewitness added that vehicles were also blast during the scene.
The spokesperson of the government provide the same reason of deaths of several people and when the tank exploded, it burns every single person on the spot and the reason of explosion as someone tried to light a cigarette.
The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed the deep grief to the people died in the accident where the number of people lost their life at Ahmad Pur Shariqa, Bahawalpur.

The rescue operations have been under process and many people were lifted with the help of a helicopter to Bahawalpur hospital and nearby cities for treatment to secure the people’s lives where firefighters fought over two hours.
