FIA Directed To Investigate Fraudulent Online Shopping Sites
The online fraudulent is the only reason people are unwilling to use this practice worldwide, recently the customer has filed the complaint against the online shopping website as he faces the fraud from the site.
The technology is growing rapidly and provides a variety of facilities but cybercrime is the only reason people are still afraid to use the internet shopping. The district court from Gujrat, Pakistan has asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime department to launch the crackdown against these websites.
Muhammad Umar filed his complaint with Judge Bakht Fakhar Behzad as he purchases the black leather jacket from the site apnidukan.com through shipment with customer reference A 01-28-2017 and shipment number 772177601294.
The e-commerce store mentioned their address as they located in Gulshan Colony, Karachi and summed up with the Leopard Courier Service but the fact is that defective leather jacket is delivered to the client through TCS and Courier Company added no such company exists at this address.
The judge noted that the fraudulent companies are working in Pakistan and manipulating the innocent people and want to snatch the money of clients and judge included in his decision:
‘I have taken the pain to myself as the page was open on Facebook but the website is not responding and noted different fraud websites are working in Pakistan’.
The judge has directed the cybercrime branch that exists in Karachi to investigate the whole matter as the order was issued under a section of 11 and send the copy of an order to the federal interior minister of the decision.
E-commerce was growing in Pakistan rapidly and many people are relying on these websites and government should need to develop the mechanism or source where clients are able to a complaint against online stores to protect other people from getting fraud as this matter is brought to court and deliver positive outcomes from the judge!
