Srinagar, also referred to as the Kashmiri Venice or ‘Venice of the East’ .It lies in the Kashmir Valley, on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus.
The town is renowned for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It dried fruits and is also identified for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. While many in the world may believe Kashmir is not a component of Pakistan, we being Pakistanis know it’s ours!
