Aftab Chengezi the figure craftsman’s colossal ability is in plain view at the exhibition hall. Situated in Shakarparian alongside the Islamabad Monument is the Islamabad Wax Museum. The wax forms there take us on an authentic voyage back in time, beginning in 1300’s. It is utterly astounding at how lifelike they are, comparable to Madam Tuso’s wax museum in London.

1. Amir Taimur
Sculpted in wax stands one of the greatest conquerors of South Asia, second only to Alexander the Great. A who ruler who had a vast empire, from Transoxiana (part of Turkistan), Afghanistan, Persia, Syria, Kurdistan. He conquered everything to Delhi all in the 1300’s.

5. Quaid-e-Azam
The man who put Pakistan on the map the Great Muhammad Ali Jinnah, better known as the Quaid-e-Azam. A dynamic leader that achieved what no other had, he helped to create a country based on religion. To stand before him is be in awe.

Two men who changed the face of the planet enough said.
7. Lord Mountbatten – The Round Table Meetings
Where the fight for Pakistan continued, with Nehru, Quaid-e-Azam and Lord Mountbatten The round-table meetings, if only these statues could speak and tell us what happened there.
