Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom (elaichi) powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon Semolina (soji)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 egg
For sugar syrup
- 1/2cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 Cardamom powder
Instructions:
Mix together, dry milk, cardamom powder, baking powder and Semolina. Add oil and egg white in the mixture and mix it well until dough becomes thick. Leave it for one hour in cold place. When the dough turns thick grease your fingers and make a small balls.ÂÂ
For sugar syrup boil water in one pan and add sugar and cardamom powder boil until syrup gets sticky.Now turn heat at low and fry balls until ball get golden brown, add them in the hot sugar syrup then cover it and leave it for 5 min. Separate them from the syrup. Serve Gulab jamuns with crushed almond and coconut.
